Accipiter Systems, Inc., Aeptec Microsystems, also known as 3e Technologies International, IBM, Novocell Semiconductor, and Vesper Networks Expand Greenhouse Membership to 27 Companies
PITTSBURGH, PA (March 31, 2003) -- The Pittsburgh Digital Greenhouse (PDG) today formally announced the addition of five new companies to their industry member roster. The companies, Accipiter Systems, Inc., Aeptec Microsystems, also known as 3e Technologies International, IBM, Novocell Semiconductor, and Vesper Networks, Inc. bring the total number of companies in the Greenhouse to 27 members. 3eTI and Novocell Semiconductor joined the Greenhouse in 4Q02 and the other three companies joined in 1Q03.
"As we continue to expand our membership roster, we are constantly looking to make the Greenhouse network stronger and more valuable for our members," said David Ruppersberger, president and CEO of the Digital Greenhouse. "We are proud to have these five new members join us. They are representative of the diversity within our membership-global leaders like IBM collaborating with established mid-size companies like 3eTI and local startups Accipiter, Novocell, and Vesper-all receiving value from their Greenhouse membership, and in turn providing value back to the other members".
Located in Wexford, PA, Accipiter Systems, Inc. is a leading developer of innovative networking solutions delivering products that reduce recurring expenses by facilitating infrastructure consolidation and that reduce non-recurring capital expenditures by extending the useful life of installed server equipment.
"Accipiter Systems is excited by the opportunity to work with the Pittsburgh Digital Greenhouse to develop high-tech jobs in Pittsburgh," said Daniel M. Flynn, President & CEO of Accipiter Systems, Inc.
Aeptec Microsystems, also known 3e Technologies International, focuses on wireless communications, networked devices, and telematics solutions.
