Senior Software/Diagnostics Development Engineer

           Strong knowledge of C/C++ programming languages is required.  Experience with embedded software development, data structures, algorithms, object oriented design, device drivers, GDB debugging and network protocols is needed.  Experience writing software for testing and debugging components in a complex system required. The preferred educational credentials are a BS and/or MS in computer science or electrical engineering. The preferred industry experience is 5+ years in software development.  A solid understanding of the software development and testing process and a working knowledge of software revision control practices and tools, such as Subversion, Perforce, and Clearcase is needed.  US citizenship required.

Senior Optical Engineer
           Industry experience in design, development, and/or testing of optical systems in a networking environment required. Experience with WDM/DWDM systems preferred.  Applicant should be familiar with the characterization and testing of optical components. The preferred educational credentials are a BS and/or MS in electrical engineering or physics. The preferred industry experience is 5+ years in optical hardware development and testing.  US citizenship required.

Lead Software Development Engineer
           Strong knowledge of C/C++ programming languages is required.  Experience with embedded software development, data structures/algorithms, object oriented design, device drivers, GDB debugging and network protocols is needed.  Routing, MPLS, RSVP and LDP networking knowledge is a plus. Programming experience in Linux OS platforms is highly preferred. The preferred educational credentials are a BS and/or MS in computer science or electrical engineering. The preferred industry experience is 10+ years in software development. A solid understanding of the software development process and a working knowledge of software revision control practices and tools, such as Subversion, Perforce, and Clearcase is needed. Strong written communication skills are required. The ability to work under tight deadlines and under minimal supervision is needed. The candidate will need to work with changing requirements, to solve high-level defined problems, and to contribute in all phases of the software development process. US citizenship required.

Software Development Engineer
           Strong knowledge of C/C++ programming languages within a Linux environment is required.  Experience with data structures, algorithms, object oriented design, GDB debugging and network protocols is needed.  Experience writing software for testing and debugging components in a complex system required.  Knowledge of Linux shell programming as well as a high-level interpretive programming language such as Python or Perl is preferred.  Experience with SNMP and/or XML-RPC protocols is a plus.  The preferred educational credentials are a BS and/or MS in computer science.  The preferred industry experience is 2 to 4 years in software development.  A solid understanding of the software development and testing process and a working knowledge of software revision control practices and tools, such as Subversion, Perforce, and Clearcase is needed.  US citizenship required.
