Accipiter (pronounced AK•sip•i•ter) Systems specializes in the development of next generation data communications systems for custom military and commercial applications. Accipiter Systems was founded by a group of principals from FORE Systems, a successful IPO and provider of data communications solutions. Accipiter Systems was incorporated in 2002 and is located in Wexford, PA which is north of Pittsburgh, PA. Accipiter Systems is named after a species of hawk indigenous to Pennsylvania.
